Description
Content of the Status’ HACCP food labels
Every foodstuff, which original packaging has once been opened, should be kept and stored according to HACCP legislation, which means it should be labeled correctly.
In accordance with HACCP legislation Status food labels are designed to track the following information:
- content of food in the container,
- date or time of the storage,
- use by date,
- approximal shelf life.
Each label is accompanied with the color of the food group – there are six different food groups and colors available:
- blue for fish and fish products,
- yellow for raw poultry meat,
- red for raw meat (beef, pork, mutton),
- green for fresh or cooked vegetables,
- apricot color for cooked meat,
- white for bread and dairy products.
The labels have also additional color label to mark the lid of the container and keep track and match which lid should be used with the certain container.
Every label is equipped with approximal microwave oven heating duration, electrical power intensity and recommended freezer temperature for each food group. The data is also in accordance with recommendations for use of the Status gastro vacuum containers.
NOTE!
It is important to use the same containers always for the same type of food, even after the containers were washed up. If for example one container was used to store poultry meat once, it must be used for poultry every time in the future too.
